Bright yellow on my mind...

What has been on my mind lately??  Well, besides being too busy to blog (I will fill you in soon), bright yellow has been on my mind.  It makes me HAPPY when used as an accent - it creates great contrast and is very striking.  Here are some pictures from my Pinterest.

HAPPY Random Dining...

I'm always looking for inspiration and today I discovered a Dutch website called vtwonen with tons of inspiration.  It has a lot of photos - I found these great dining pictures under { Inspiration - Food } or { wooninspiratie - Eten } I really love these dining spaces - they are simple, relaxed and a little quirky.

Falling off the treadmill is a Royal Pain....

On Friday I nearly fell off my treadmill while watching Royal Pains because I needed to stop to capture this scene.  I just LOVE this bedroom!  The color scheme is so pretty - yellow, cream, and gray with pops of green.  Love the Dwell sheets, wallpaper, yellow and cream screen, iron bed...  All set off by the the white trim and french doors... Notice the attached artist studio - LOVE IT!  And does anyone know who makes that wallpaper??!!

Rustic Scandinavian Retreat...

I'm fascinated with the interiors found in Scandinavian Retreat.  Every retreat is restful and fresh.  Today I fell in LOVE with this one - the natural wood, worn finishes, and open shelving are so easy and comfortable.  I just LOVE it!!

I REALLY love these lofty spaces by Diana Kellogg Architects!!!  The architectural details, vintage elements, modern lines...  Everything is so INSPIRING!

Inspiring Spaces { Modern Mexico }

I can't get over the Hotel Districto Capital in Mexico City.  The neutral, calming palette and clean, simple design - love the use of scale to create drama.  WOW, I could certainly unwind there!

 

 

 

 

 

Inspiring Spaces { mill house }

I really don't know much about this house, but I love the clean, compact design. The photos are by Lindman Photography out of Sweden and the pictures are titled "Mill House". I find this little home very intriguing - the light wood and large windows lead to a light, airy, comfortable design. Oh, how I LOVE this inspiring little house!!
